Who we are
The name of our company comes from a famous phrase of Gabriele D’Annunzio:
“Non ducor, duco.”, that literally means “I am not led, I lead.”.
The name of our company comes from a very famous quote of the italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio “Non ducor, duco” which means “I’m not driven, I lead”.
We have chosen the word “Ducor” as name of our company because we wanted to give with the idea “to be driven”. We like to think that companies choose to work with us because they are aware to be driven on the right direction and to what it’s the most coherent and strategic choice for their needs. We start from the graphic of the shoe, to the design, until the realization of the shoe. At the same time, we also like to be driven by the companies inside their reality in order to get to know them, make some analysis and help them develop the best products in the industry.
It’s only after this sharing process that we believe we will be able to lead.
Ducor design studio born near Montebelluna (Treviso – Italy) area, thanks to the big experience of the CEO Gianfranco Gallina, that manage his team, having a big competence concerning the style, technical development and management of shoes processes.
Studio Ducor team follow the customer and give its service step by step during the product development; the customer project is analyzed, developed and processed internally in order to give to the customer a product with the characteristics and the styles required.
The team give shoes style and design service, development, prototyping of: upper, outsoles and every shoes technical feature. In addition during every development phase and production phase studio Ducor can give technical and management assistance, thanks to the team made by well‐advanced designers.

Ducor actually is also cooperating with some far east brand companies (BIGPACK and BLACK YAK), some important Italian outdoor brands like KAYLAND & TREZETA, with european brands like BOREAL and with some supplier factories supporting them with their internal projects and giving them the production support to make them able to give the maximum satisfaction to their customers.
Thanks to the big experience of more than 30 years, Ducor is focused on waterproof shoes and works into Italian and foreign countries (East Europe and Asia) following and managing the processes including.
