Our goal is to evaluate the idea of customer and make it real, to make a market analysis complete with budget, feasibility considering the target price; analysis of production costs related to the features of the product; identification of the coherence of the product inside the shoe collection and design the product itself.
In this phase we create the first concepts of the shoe design: upper, sole or any kind of aesthetic or technical accessory for the shoe.
Considering what came out during the phase of analysis, evaluating the brand, its perceived style and the philosophy of the company, we arrive to present to the customer a very stylish and innovative project. The project will need to be possible to be realized and coherent both with the design of the collection and with placement of brand on the market.
Once designs to be produced are defined, begins the development of the shoe. The development phase starts from the shape of the shoe, which can be existing or a new one based on the required needs.
After a fine evaluation of the materials and an analysis of the product technologies, the next step is to create the prototype of the shoe. The prototype will have aesthetic or functional features and it will be shown to the customer in order to be able to make changes and updates. This phase will be very useful in order to finalize the product and have an idea of the costs.
After the internal finishing of the shoe prototype with all its details and come out with the final sample, we take care of managing all the processes in order to make the supplier being able to produce the quantity of samples needed for the presentation inside the company and for the commercial areas.
The industrialization is a fundamental phase in which we industrialize all the processes needed for the in line production of the shoe.
For this reason, the studio of design made my Ducor helps not only the finalization of the choice for all the needed technical tools and materials in terms of quality, but also the budgeting of the product itself and all that concerns the shoe production processes from the very beginning to the quality control.
During the shoe production phase, we will keep under control all the process through specific technical standards and the defined timing through very aimed visits to the suppliers. We will offer assistance for any kind of production problem and verify that the product respect the required needs.

The name of our company comes from a famous phrase of Gabriele D’Annunzio “Non ducor, duco.,” that literally means “I am not led, I lead.”.
